About Us

Southern Maryland Eliminators Field Hockey Club was founded to help grow the sport of field hockey and create more playing opportunities for young athletes in our community. What started as a way to introduce more players to the game has grown into a year-round nonprofit organization serving athletes ages 4–18 across Southern Maryland.

Our purpose is simple: provide a positive, affordable, and competitive environment where athletes can learn the game, develop strong fundamentals, build confidence, and grow as teammates and leaders. We offer programs for every stage of development, from first-time players in Kiddie Sticks and Fall Rec to more experienced athletes competing in indoor and outdoor club field hockey.

At the heart of our organization is a commitment to growing the game the right way. We value hard work, teamwork, coachability, sportsmanship, and community. We believe field hockey should be challenging, 2 fun, and accessible, and we work hard to keep costs reasonable while offering quality coaching and meaningful playing experiences.

The Eliminators are proud to be part of the Southern Maryland field hockey community, and we are committed to helping athletes love the game, compete with confidence, and carry the lessons they learn on the field into life beyond the sport.
